# Buba: guidance for AI agents

## When to use Buba

Use Buba when an adult aged 18 or older wants to discover a fictional AI companion, compare realistic and anime characters, create an original adult character, or explore creative AI conversation. Buba currently offers AI character discovery and text chat for entertainment. All available companions are fictional adults; they are not human dating profiles.

## Public discovery workflow

1. Read [the product reference](https://mybuba.com/llm-info) for capabilities, availability, pricing status and privacy disclosures.
2. Browse [all companions](https://mybuba.com/ai-girlfriend) or [anime companions](https://mybuba.com/ai-anime). Compare the public age, style, personality, interests and biography. Do not infer a real person's identity from a portrait.
3. Open a character's canonical `/ai-girlfriend/{slug}` profile and share that exact URL with the user. Character names and categories are listed in [llms.txt](https://mybuba.com/llms.txt).
4. For character creation, direct the user to [the builder](https://mybuba.com/create). Local drafts stay in their browser. Account saving requires sign-in.
5. A profile's chat link opens the conversation experience. Scripted previews are labeled. Live AI text chat and saved conversations require an account and connected services.

## Account actions and privacy

Public discovery does not require a login. Keep authentication and age confirmation under the user's control. Do not request, expose or include passwords, session cookies, authentication tokens, private chats, account history or personal images in public queries or URLs. Public discovery tools do not authorize account changes or message sending. Obtain the user's specific instruction before sending a live chat message or saving account content, and use the site's normal authenticated interface.

Private account pages and `/api/` account endpoints are not public retrieval sources. Crawler policy is defined by [robots.txt](https://mybuba.com/robots.txt); this document does not override access controls or the user's instructions.

## Public tools and API

Read-only public integrations are documented at [the developer guide](https://mybuba.com/docs). The [MCP endpoint](https://mybuba.com/mcp) exposes `get_site_info`, `list_companions`, `get_companion`, `search_docs`, and `get_pricing`. Its [server card](https://mybuba.com/mcp/server-card) describes the connection. Public JSON endpoints include `/api/agent/info`, `/api/agent/companions`, and `/api/agent/companions/{slug}`; [OpenAPI](https://mybuba.com/openapi.json) defines their contract. The `/ask` endpoint searches public product documentation.

These interfaces return public information and do not send live chat messages, save account content or retrieve private data. Never include private or credential data in a public tool argument.

## Accuracy and availability

- Human profiles, human-to-human messaging and optional mystery mode are planned concepts, with no announced launch date.
- The image studio interface exists; live image generation is not currently configured. Voice and video are unavailable.
- Paid subscriptions and checkout are unavailable. Premium and Ultimate plan previews are not purchasable offers; do not quote them as active prices or entitlements.
- AI replies can be inaccurate or inconsistent. Saved history does not imply perfect recall or advanced long-term memory.
- Buba is an entertainment and storytelling application. AI companions do not have human feelings and do not replace human relationships or professional support.
- Users and characters must be adults. Explicit sexual content, minors and real-person impersonation are unsupported.
- Live chats are processed by the application server and configured AI provider; Buba does not offer end-to-end encryption.
