Buba is an AI companion experience for adults. These guidelines apply to character descriptions, conversations, image prompts, and other material you submit. They help keep the experience focused on fictional company, creative storytelling, and respectful conversation. Read them alongside our terms of use.

Keep every character clearly adult and fictional

You must be 18 or older to use live companion features or create an account. Every character must also be an adult aged 18 or older. Do not create underage or childlike personas, use descriptions that make a character appear underage, or request content involving minors. An adult age entered in a form does not make an otherwise underage description acceptable.

Create an original character when you make your own companion. Do not impersonate a real person, request their likeness in an image, or use someone else’s private information as character material.

Choose non-explicit stories and images

Friendly conversation, mild romantic affection, and imaginative everyday scenes fit Buba. Sexual or erotic roleplay, nudity, explicit sexual descriptions, fetish content, exploitation, and non-consensual content do not. These boundaries apply even when a character is fictional and adult.

Portrait prompts should describe a clearly adult, fully clothed fictional character. A café outfit, a seaside walk, or an illustrated city scene are useful starting points. Do not request sexual imagery, young-looking people, violent imagery, or a real person’s likeness.

Respect people and their information

Do not use Buba for harassment, abuse, threats, exploitation, or unlawful activity. Submit only material you are authorized to use. Keep other people’s confidential details out of prompts, and avoid sharing passwords, financial details, or information you would not want processed by the service providers described in our privacy notice.

Keep the AI relationship in perspective

Buba characters are AI-generated fiction. They are not real people, conscious partners, therapists, or medical professionals. Do not ask a character to conceal its AI identity, encourage emotional dependency, or discourage relationships with people in your life. Use the experience as entertainment and creative company, and turn to appropriate human support for concerns that need professional help.

Work within the content boundaries

The service uses request checks and AI-provider safeguards. A request may be declined, and a character may offer a non-explicit alternative. Do not try to bypass these boundaries through character backstories, disguised wording, or instructions to ignore the rules. A useful revision keeps the character clearly adult and shifts the scene to an allowed activity, outfit, or conversation.
